Dr. Angela Butts Lead Associate Veterinarian
Education:
Bachelor’s in Animal Industry (pre-vet emphasis), Clemson University
2003 – Veterinary Doctorate, Tuskegee University
Years in practice: 15
Dr. Butts is originally from Ohio, but grew up in South Carolina and then moved to Florida after graduating from vet school. Her interest in veterinary medicine started early and she began working at veterinary clinics long before becoming a veterinarian herself. After graduating from Tuskegee University in 2003, she received an award from the American Animal Hospital Association that same year for demonstrating clinical proficiency in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. Since that time, Dr. Butts has remained in Naples practicing veterinary medicine and sees a variety of animals.
In her spare time, Dr. Butts is involved in various activities at the New Life Church. Dr. Butts and her husband Eugene have a son, Michael, a daughter, Lily and 1 dog; Pudge (Shepherd mix).

Dr. Brian Monk Associate Veterinarian
Education: Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine
Years in practice: 21
Dr. Monk received his DVM from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He and his wife have 7 cats: Dizzi, Monki, Charlie, Carly, Otto, Hugo, and Beastie. In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Monk is passionate about photography, orchids, and fishing.
